We live in a consumer culture, we are manipulated by mass media and we are surrounded by brands, logotypes and advertisements inviting us to buy.

Designers joined this growing issue making reference to very well know brands, just as Moschino did with McDonald's, redesigning the emblematic yellow arches to put them into their pieces. Or Chanel, inspired in supermarkets for its runway show.

Vivimos en una cultura consumista, somos manipulados por los medios de comunicación y estamos  rodeados de marcas, logos  y anuncios que nos invitan a comprar.

 Los diseñadores se sumaron a este auge de consumismo evocando en sus prendas  logos de algunas marcas reconocidas como  Moschino, que se inspiro en McDonald’s  y rediseño los emblemáticos arcos amarillos para plasmarlos en sus prendas o Chanel que se inspiro en los supermercados para presentarnos su mas resiente colección.

TRENDS Florals

Spring is almost here, and as we all know, flowers bloom and birds sing. Take all that cheesy romantic style and wear floral prints in any piece you want. You can also wear florals from head to toe. As we've been seeing on autumn/winter '13-'14, these kind of prints were in trend on dark background to make them more dramatic. Now is time for tropical blooms and bright colors, don't be shy of showing your "exotic side", take a risk; flowers always will be a sweet kind of expression even though sometimes they're wild.
